  • A native of Philadelphia, Bob grew up submerged in sports and went All-American at Widener University where he majored in economics. He and his wife Monica started the church from scratch back in 1993 are as still as passionate about their mission to see people reach their full potential in following Jesus Christ as they were back then. They can’t wait to see what God does through this generation. If you see Pastor Bob outside of church, you’ll likely see him reading, golfing, or (his newfound love) cycling.

  • Monica's attitude toward God, life, education, and the young people of our generation can be summed up by a word: passion. Monica has grown our children and youth ministries from the start and loves to draw young people into the presence of God and help them discover their passion and purpose. She’s currently influencing the next generation as the Head of School at Innovate Academy, our PreK through 9th grade classical Christian school. Most of all, however, she is thrilled to be Pastor Bob's wife.

  • John loves his job. Alongside directing the music ministry here, he has the privilege of assisting various other ministries and departments to identify and reach their goals through strategic planning, creating reliable systems, and adapting to challenges. John and his wife Bonnie visited ccdelco fresh off their honeymoon during our first service at 500 Brandywine Drive—and haven’t been anywhere else since. John absolutely loves to play guitar in his free time, tackle home improvement projects, and, most of all, being a dad.

  • Shem loves fixing broken things and going beneath the surface with people. Descending from the Congo, born in Sudan, raised in Kenya, and married in America, Shem first sat in a meeting with Pastor Bob and a group of people planning to launch ccdelco. A couple of weeks after that, Shem led worship and has been ever since. A few of Shem's favorite things include cycling, motorcycling, and unabashedly asking for food.

  • Having been born & raised in Delco, I graduated from Ridley High School.

Following in my father’s and grandfather’s footsteps, I’ve worked as a System Tech at Verizon for the last 35 years.

My beautiful wife Raini and I have been married for 31 yrs and live in Aston Mills, PA. We have 2 really great adult(ing?) daughters Karli and Hannah, along with our son-in-law Zachary.

I became a believer in 1992, and starting on that first service ‘way back when I have been part of ccdelco for most of its journey. Throughout the years I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to serve in various roles in the ministry- most

passionately though through discipling and investing in others in the men’s ministry, and mission trips to Kenya and abroad.

If you want to get to know me, here's a peek at some of my hard-wiring:

Camping - traveling - movies - reading - all things Star Wars - motorcycles -tattoos - coffee - discipleship - rich & meaningful one-on-one conversations-relationships - friendships - laughter - healthiness (physical, emotional, spiritual, mental)

  • Austin is deeply passionate about helping families walk in their purpose. Austin and his wife, Jemila, are both South Jersey natives who moved to Dallas, TX in 2018. There, they started a family and Austin was called to the ministry of the gospel. They watched the Lord provide for their family when they moved to Dallas with nothing, and have gotten the privilege to watch Him do it again as they transitioned from their church and moved back to their northeast roots in 2023, receiving this position in faith just a month later. Aside from spending time with his two little boys and continually dating his wife, Austin loves attending football and basketball games (he played football as a running back at Villanova University), and always loves learning and browsing around the nearest bookstore.

  • Adler is crazy passionate about discipleship, and he gets to live it out daily as he teaches at our classical, Christian academy. He has the great joy of seeing people go from brokenness to fullness in Christ. Adler and his wife Anna ended up at ccdelco when he moved up north as an actor at Sight and Sound in Lancaster, PA. A friend invited him to church, challenged him to get more plugged in, and boom, here we are. He’s a self-proclaimed dork in a jock facade—he loves sci-fi fantasy, camping, board games, ice hockey, baseball, and dad jokes.

  • Jim truly has a servant’s heart and loves caring for those around him. Over his 40+ years in ministry, he has had the honor of serving alongside people all over the county and other states, as both a worship leader and pastor. He and his wife of 47 years, Ann, came to ccdelco during the pandemic and have made this place feel like home. His family will tell you that Jim makes friends everywhere he goes. When he’s not chatting with brothers and sisters in the congregation, he enjoys playing music, spending time with his family (including 5 grandsons!), and is always up to share a good Seinfeld reference.

  • John, his wife Crystal, and their three daughters, Hailey (20), Claire (16) and Lauren (13) have been attending Calvary Chapel since they moved to Newtown Square, PA in June of 2020 (yes, the beginning of the pandemic!).

John is a partner with the professional services firm Deloitte & Touche LLP where he recently celebrated 27 years of service. He provides audit and advisory services to Deloitte’s largest global clients.

Prior to attending ccdelco, John led capital (building) campaigns for three churches in Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania (yes, John and his family moved a lot and no, they have no plans to move again!). Those campaigns were modeled after 1 Chronicles 28 where each church family was assembled and led by our Lord to indelibly change the Kingdom for His purpose.
